During a Zero Balancing session, the client remains fully clothed and lies face up, while the practitioner applies a series of curved pulls to key areas of the skeleton. The touch can be gentle or firm, but always feels safe and supportive.
Zero Balancing addresses the physical structure as well as the energy flow of the deepest and most enduring part of a person, the bones.
Standing up after a Zero Balancing, the client feels a new organization of their body and mind, including easier balance and a sense of peace and simplicity. This work not only helps with bodily issues, but makes one’s life easier to navigate.
Because we are working at a level which is deeper than thoughts and emotions, there is nothing dramatic or cathartic about the session. Issues seem to be resolved from underneath their feet, without the need to relive any trauma or examine any personal story.
I’m currently enrolled in the Zero Balancing certification program through the Zero Balancing Health Association.
